Saturday 116km Handicap Road Race

Start time 12pm Saturday the 12th June 2010

This race starts and finishes at the Wagga Winery on the Oura Road, approximately 24km from Wagga Wagga CBD. The Wagga Wagga Winery offers cellar door sales and a fully licensed restaurant set amongst 17 acres of established grape vines a stone's throw from the Murrumbidgee River. A perfect location for supporters to pass the time away waiting for riders to come back to the finish line

The road race will commence from the Wagga Wagga Winery on the Oura Road on the Saturday. The course provides a challenge for riders travelling out through Wantabadgery, through the rolling hills towards Nangus, across to Eurongilly, over to the township of Junee, through the outskirts of Junee and onto Harefield, and back to sprint across the finish line in front of the Wagga Winery.

The course through Junee is dominated by a fast downhill entry into the town via the Wantabadgery road and Belmore St. There is then a left hand turn into the centre of Junee. A short right, left combination of corners sees riders through William St and onto the road back towards Wagga.
