Proudly brought to you by
Wagga Motors Honda
Two days of riding offers riders the opportunity to compete
for prize money of $15,000 over the weekend.
Challenging
courses, quality racing, big money,
heaps of fun…Don't miss it!
The Wagga Wagga Cycling Club is taking this
opportunity to ask the Riders and the Public to come along and witness a great
weekend of racing, with the criteriums on the Sunday
being particularly good for spectators.
Food and beverages (yes…COFFEE!) available at both venues
84km Handicap Road Race: Start time 11am
116km Handicap Road Race:
Start time 12 noon
84 km Road Race: The shorter road
race commences in Jewnee Street, Wantabadgery on the
Saturday. The course provides a gentle start for riders leaving the Rural Fire Service
Hall at Wantabadgery; a left hand turn onto the Oura
Road then a right takes the racers out along the undulating Wantabadgery Rd.
Riders then turn left onto Nangus Road and head towards, and then through, the
township of Junee. Turn left again at
Harefield. Pattersons Rd takes the riders back to
along the Oura road all the way back to the finish
line at Wantabadgery.
The course through Junee is dominated by a fast downhill
entry into the town via the Wantabadgery Road and Belmore St. Take a left hand
turn into the centre of Junee. A short
right, left combination of corners sees riders through William St and onto the Junee-Harefield
Road then Patterson’s Road back towards Wagga. A left onto the Oura Road takes riders back to the start/finish line at
Wantabadgery.
